Kinga
We present to you the first scholarship holder of our Add Wings program. Kinga is a student of the 1st class of the Art Secondary School, she is a laureate of numerous competitions:
1st degree distinction in the Polish competition Krąg Album about Polish rulers
2nd place in the regional religious and art competition "Mother of God in human life"
3rd place in the provincial religious competition "Life is a value"
Distinction in the provincial competition "Zielono mi"
2nd place in the interschool competition of knowledge about the activities and work of Henryk Sienkiewicz
Distinction in the inter-school knowledge competition about John Paul II
1st place in the inter-school art competition "Easter Egg"
Distinction in the regional art competition "My reflection in the mirror in 26 years"
Recognition in the literary and journalistic competition of the Rybnik Prose newspaper in the subject of "What we keep running for" and many others in the field of biology, chemistry, history and sports.
Kinga's greatest passion is painting and drawing, in addition to class, the student looks for other opportunities to develop her talent. He is also interested in fashion, sews clothes, designs, shows his works on his own fashion blog and on the YouTube channel. Another student's interest is photography and film. He is also trying his hand at editing films and multimedia presentations. We purchased professional painting accessories and a camera for Kinga. The Beautiful Angels Association was selected as one of the three partners of the KiK store chain. By throwing money into the can located at the cash registers in KiK stores, we can do a lot together! We would like to thank everyone who supported the project with a donation.
WIKTORIA
We present to you another scholarship holder of our Add Wings program. Wiktoria started her adventure with horses at the age of 10. At the beginning, she helped look after the horses at a nearby stud. There she watched the training riders. Over time, the hobby turned into great love. She started to train horse riding, then took part in several show jumping competitions where she took good positions, which made her even more motivated to continue the sport.
Wiktoria won the Bronze Equestrian Badge. It entitles it, inter alia, to participate in competitions in the discipline - dressage to class "P" and jumping discipline "L", ie obstacles up to 100 cm. In order to take part in the competition, Wiktoria is forced to wear a borrowed outfit, which is not fully fitted and does not ensure complete safety. To make further progress and achieve greater success, Wiktoria must wear the appropriate outfit that complies with the regulations of the Polish Equestrian Federation (PZJ). The outfit plays an important role not only in the rider's appearance, but also allows the horse to be better guided and ensures complete safety. The family's financial situation is not good enough to meet Victoria's needs. The purchase of a new outfit will enable Wiktoria to start in the competitions of a higher rank, and will certainly contribute to greater success, but above all, it will allow her to fulfill her great passion.
As part of the scholarship program, Wiktoria received: a helmet, a protective vest, a competition shirt, breeches, a tailcoat, Chelsea boots and chaps. matylda
Another scholarship holder of our Add Wings program is Matylda. Matylda is 15 years old and comes from the small village of Bełsznica. She is last year's graduate of the State Music School of the 1st degree. Wojciech Kilar in Wodzisław Śląski, which she graduated with honors. Currently, he continues his education at the 1st and 2nd degree State Music School. Music became Matilda's special passion, and the flute became her beloved instrument. Matylda has her future connected with flute playing. Due to the financial barrier of the family, Matylda played the beginner flute. However, without a professional instrument, her dreams could not be developed. The funds from the scholarship awarded to Matylda were allocated to the purchase of a new flute. KRZYŚ
Our next scholarship holder is Krzyś. Krzysiu is an extremely gifted clarinettist. He started learning this instrument on September 1, 2012 at the Wojciech Kilar in Wodzisław Śląski. From the very beginning, he was distinguished by talent and systematic work. He is always prepared, willing and ready to participate in concerts.
Krzyś has had several successes. In addition to excellent grades from the instrument at the end of the school year, he participated in several competitions:
distinction at the 16th Festival of Instrumental Music in Chwałowice in 2015,
2nd place 17th at the Instrumental Music Festival in Chwałowice in 2016.
2nd place in the School Etudes Competition, 2016
distinction in the 18th National Festival of Young Talents in Rybnik Ireneusz Jeszka, in 2017.
Krzysiu started learning a borrowed school instrument. Currently, he practices on the simplest entry-level clarinet, which is made of plastic. It is an instrument intended for beginners in art (for small children). Krzyś should practice on a wooden professional clarinet.
In 2017, after successfully passing the recruitment process, Krzyś started studying at the Complex of Secondary Music Schools in Katowice. It is an elite school that brings together general and music education in one building and during one educational cycle. At this stage of learning, Krzyś needs a professional instrument. How can you not support such a talent? Of course, we bought a new clarinet! Thanks to the new instrument, Krzyś will be able to present an even higher level of play. Thanks to you, we are adding wings! We thank the customers and the KiK store chain. The funds collected in stores help to support talented children who have a financial barrier on their way to development.
GABRYSIA
Gabrysia is an exceptionally talented young singer. Currently, he is studying at the vocal and acting department of the Academy of Music in Krakow. Her exceptional voice has been appreciated by jurors of many music competitions and reviews. In 2017, Gabrysia won the Małopolska Talent title, the 1st Prize at the National Vocal Festival, and the 1st Prize at the "Kultura Romansu" International Vocal Competition in Warsaw. Singing is Gabrysia's dog, we were pleased to support her with the purchase of a professional microphone :) the voice is carried to more and more corners of the country and the world.
The Give Wings program of the Beautiful Angels association is implemented thanks to the support of customers and the KiK chain of stores. Together, we give talented children and teenagers wings.
